About Us
Centrally located between the southern tier and
Fingerlakes region of upstate NY in Berkshire, the Marz Farm
is within easy access of major highway corridors in every
direction. In an area abundant with family farms, the Marz
Farm continues to strive to become more sustainable every
year.
The Marz farm is situated on what was originally the Old
Sharp Farm. The land has been farmed since 1887, mostly in
dairy milk production. Although we were the first
non-related owners in over 120 years, we were fortunate
enough to be adopted by the whole Sharp family, and are
lucky to have expertise and advice from Sharp neighbors
right close by!
Besides the farm animals, the farm is also home to
rescued cats and three rescue dogs. While the cats make
their home in the barns and earn their keep catching
unwelcome visitors to the farm, the dogs have less defined
employment roles and are more members of the family.
Currently we offer certified organic hay and vegetables,
pastured pigs, and free range eggs. Pork is available by the
whole, half, and retail cuts. In conjunction with other
farmers, we can also offer grass fed beef by the whole,
half, and quarters.
